Math Mania is a game that teaches basic numeracy, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, patterning, sequencing, and problem solving using game cards and game charts.
The games in Math Mania may be used in JK and K to teach numbers and in Gr. 1, Gr. 2, and Gr. 3 to teach the basics of adding, subtracting, multiplication and division. Colour coded cards numbering 0 to 13 help students to do various applications in math. Each card has a colourful cartoon character and the appropriate number of shapes on the card to make learning easy. The four basic shapes are square, rectangle, circle and triangle. The colours on the cards match the Top Story game board colours of red, blue, green and yellow.
The cards may also be used to play card games like Fish, War, Rummy or other games. The cartoon characters act as different suits making it much easier for young children to learn. For older children there are several more challenging game charts included.
